Richard Anderton is an international ornithologist and bird-recorder at the Swiss Ornithological Institute contributing to numerous publications, such as, The Birds of Graubunden, and the Swiss Atlas of Breeding Birds. While living in the USA, he served as the volunteer resident ornithologist at Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park in New Mexico. An established blogger, Anderton has studied birds while living in Switzerland, Morocco, Spain, the USA and Costa Rica. Richard currently lives on the Southeast coast of the UK, within walking distance of the South Downs National Park.
